This project rebrands KCET’s documentary series Artbound and creates a publication around the episode Modern Masters, which profiles five artists who emerged from WWII Japanese internment camps to shape modern art. The visual identity honors their resilience through a redesigned logo, book, and posters, along with a hand-built three-fold shoji screen concept for a hypothetical installation. The work deepened my understanding of Isamu Noguchi, S. Neil Fujita, George Nakashima, Gyo Obata, and Ruth Asawa, while refining my skills in culturally sensitive design, historical research, and storytelling through print and identity systems.
